Happy Summer everyone! It’s hard to believe it’s mid-July already. On August 1, 2021 Piper and Dune will celebrate the 6-month anniversary of its new brick and mortar store in Bennett Square, Southbury.
For those of you who might not know our history… we softly launched Piper and Dune on-line in September of 2019 and wow, that was a learning experience - we learned how the website would need to perform differently and how it should be structured better to improve customer experiences, etc. Fast forward 3 months …
We formally launched the business at our Pop-Up Event which took place at the Heritage Inn in Southbury. That event helped to put Piper and Dune on the map. Then, COVID hit shortly thereafter. We decided to test the waters with a Temporary Pop-Up store on October 31, 2020. Then, exactly one year after Piper and Dune’s formal online launch we made the decision to open a permanent store in our hometown of Southbury, CT. After we renovated the space, we opened on February 1, 2021- in the middle of a blizzard. Our new space is twice the size of the original Pop-Up.
On August 1, our brick and mortar store will be 6 months old. To celebrate, we are having a spring/summer blowout SALE from Saturday July 17 - Friday July 30, no code is required.
