Hello everyone and happy fall. It hardly seems possible that it’s almost Halloween. We spent most of the last week at Piper and Dune putting our Holiday collection together - our loyal early-birds kept telling us we were behind and missing out on their business - supposedly all the other stores had their holiday stuff out and they were already shopping! So we jumped on board (minus the store decor - we aren’t feeling that yet :)
As a result of watching us scurry about, we found this pumpkin image on social media that represents exactly how we feel. I’m sure many of you can relate!

For those of you who are lucky enough to visit us in Southbury, CT… we invite you to this fun event that was put together by the Locally Owned Women Businesses to gain awareness and to promote all the wonderful shops and dining establishments on Main Street S in Southbury, CT. Bennett Square is the largest stop on the route- #5. There’s over 16 businesses here at our site alone plus a women's duo singing group, a company called the Vintage Horse who is serving hot cocoa and warm cider, a bounce house for the kids, plus many home-based businesses which will have pop up tents.
Piper and Dune is having a sidewalk sale, refreshments, a raffle, and more. We would like to encourage everyone to get out there and shop local. It’s a great time to get ahead of the curve and shop early for the holidays. We’ll be having a sidewalk sale, a raffle, and so much more!
