Meredith's path found her working alongside dessert and pastry chefs in some of the most creative kitchens in New England; an experience that she considers priceless and integral to who she is today. Meredith began immersing herself in the art of truffle making and chocolate creating after relocating to the East Rock community of New Haven (where she has resided for nearly two decades). 

With support from friends and her large, tight-knit family, Meredith realized her dream of starting her own business and ventured out to create MELT Chocolatier. Her sweet treats encompass the comfort and nostalgia she found in her childhood kitchen, and her passion is in sharing that with you. She creates everything by hand to give it a truly personal feel so you can feel the love inside each chocolate and know it was made especially for you.
